Santa Cruz often abbreviated as Sta. Cruz is a barangay located in the San Francisco Del Monte district of Quezon City with an approximate land area of 44 hectares bounded by South and West Triangles in the East, Quezon Avenue and Barangay Paligsahan in the South, Nayong Kanluran in the Northeast and Barangay Paltok in the North. Neighboring barangays include Mariblo, Paraiso, Paltok, Talayan, Sto. Fernando Poe Jr. Avenue (also referred to as FPJ Avenue and still commonly referred as its former name Roosevelt Avenue) is the principal north–south tertiary road serving the San Francisco del Monte district (colloquially known as Frisco) of Quezon City, Philippines. It runs with a length of between Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) to the north and Quezon Avenue to the south. The avenue is named after Fernando Poe Jr., a renowned actor and National Artist of the Philippines. As Roosevelt Avenue, it was named after United States president Franklin D. Roosevelt. Sangguniang Kabataan
Sangguniang Kabataan (abbreviated as SK; ) is a council meant to represent the youth in each barangay in the Philippines. It was put "on hold", but not quite abolished, prior to the 2013 barangay elections. In January 2016, the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act was signed into law which made some significant changes to the SK and initially scheduled new elections for October 2016. In March 2017, the elections were postponed anew to May 2018. The SK Chairman leads the Sangguniang Kabataan. A Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) composed of representatives of different local youth groups supports the SK and its programs. The Sangguniang Kabataan is the successor of the Kabataang Barangay (KB; ) which was abolished by the Local Government Code of 1991. The Fisher Mall is a mall in Quezon City that opened on January 29, 2014. The location of the mall was formerly occupied by the Pantranco bus terminal. One of the anchors of the mall, Fisher Supermarket, primarily sells fish supplied by Irma Fishing Inc. Etymology The Fisher Mall's name is a homage to Mallers Management Corporation President Ray del Rosario's ancestors who initiated Irma Fishing fishing business based in Malabon. Planned expansions and changes Mallers Investment Corporation planned to build a 15-storey hotel or a mall annex in 2015–2016. If the hotel component pushed through, it would have been branded under Fisher Mall and have had approximately 110 rooms catering to the mid-range segment, and would've been located beside the mall itself. Manuel L.
