Sanna is an island and village area in Træna Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island is the largest island in Træna Municipality. The island is located less than west of the main island of Husøya. The island has five characteristic mountaintops, the highest is the tall Trænstaven. The Traena Music Festival is held on this island each year. The island has 3 permanent residents (in 2018). Sanna () is a hamlet at the far western tip of the Scotland, Scottish peninsula of Ardnamurchan, in Lochaber, Highland (council area), Highland. It is one of the most westerly settlements on the mainland of Great Britain, and consists of a small collection of croft (land), crofts and houses around a series of unspoilt sandy beaches. Sänna
Sänna (, ) is a village in Rõuge Parish, Võru County in southeastern Estonia. As of the 2011 census, the settlement's population was 55. Poet and writer Artur Adson (1889–1977) grew up in Sänna village. Writer Juhan Jaik was born in Sänna. Sänna manor A manor has existed on the site since the Middle Ages, when it was a subsidiary manor to Vastseliina Castle. The present, wooden building however dates from 1875. Throughout history, the manor has belonged to several different Baltic German families, including the aristocratic families von Budberg, von Vietinghoff and von Fusch. It currently houses a library and a community centre and is open to the public. King Sanna
Sanna was a king, who ruled Java during the early 8th century CE. According to Canggal inscription (dated 732 CE), the island of Java had long been under the rule of this wise and virtuous king. However, the kingdom fell into disunity after his death. Amid a period of violence and confusion Sanjaya, son of Sannaha (the sister of Sanna) ascended to the throne, and established the Kingdom of Mataram. He was named as Prabu Sanna or Bratasena in ''Carita Parahyangan'' (a book composed around late 16th-century CE). According to Carita Parahyangan, Sanna was the King of Galuh that was usurped by his cousin, Purbasora. In this book, Sanjaya is described as the son of Sanna, rather than his nephew. So, to avenge his father's defeat, Sanjaya attacked Galuh with a special force and killed Purbasora along with his family. Afterwards, Sanjaya reclaimed Sanna's kingdom and began to rule Java. A sanna () is a spongy, steamed, and savoury unfilled dumpling originally made of red rice, black lentil and coconut in the Konkan region, by the western coast of the Indian subcontinent. They originated in Goa and Damaon, Bombay and Bassein (Vasai). They are especially popular among Goans, both the Goan Hindus and Goan Christians, and also among the Konkani people, Konkani migrants outside Konkan in Karachi, Sindh, Gujarat, Karnataka and Kerala. They are also made by the people of Konkan division, such as the ''Kupari'' of the Bombay East Indian community. Hindus normally use urad dal, coconut water and coconut milk for fermentation. Catholic Christian sannas consist of two types: Those made from the Palm toddy, toddy of coconut sugar, coconut flowers, and those sannas made using the sap-toddy of the coconut palm. The Sanna-77 (from South Africa) is the end of a line of submachine guns which can trace their existence and lineage to the days of Rhodesia and their Unilateral Declaration of Independence in 1965. History The small landlocked Rhodesian state faced international sanctions and an arms-embargo from 1965 as well as guerrilla warfare from 1966 and so began producing their own arms.
