Sanmaur (a contraction of ''Saint-Maurice'') is a village in the Haute-Mauricie, in La Tuque, Quebec, La Tuque, in Québec, Canada. Sanmaur was incorporated into the city of La Tuque in 2003. The Mégiscane River is a tributary of Parent Lake (Abitibi). The Suzie River is a tributary of the Mégiscane River flowing into the municipality of Senneterre in La Vallée-de-l'Or Regional County Municipality (RCM), in the administrative region Abitibi-Témiscamingue, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. Mauricie () is a traditional and current administrative region of Quebec. La Mauricie National Park is contained within the region, making tourism in Mauricie popular.
