Sanja Orozović (; born 11 May 1990) is a Serbian-Hungary, Hungarian professional basketball player who plays for ŽKK Spartak Subotica, Spartak Subotica. In 2018, she won the Women Adriatic Basketball Association championship with ŽKK Budućnost Podgorica, Budućnost Bemax. In 2020, she won the Icelandic Women's Basketball Supercup, Icelandic Super Cup with Skallagrímur women's basketball, Skallagrímur. First Women's Basketball League Of Serbia
The First Women's Basketball League of Serbia (; abbr. ПЖЛС or PŽLS), is a top-tier women's professional basketball league in Serbia. Founded in 2006, it is run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS). The league is divided into two parts. The first part of the play all the clubs who have won a place in it. WABA League, commonly known as the Adriatic League, is a top-level regional basketball league, featuring female teams from Serbia, Montenegro, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Croatia. Clubs from Turkey, North Macedonia, Hungary and Italy had their representatives in WABA League in past seasons. Since 2012 a Cadet WABA League and since 2014 Pionir WABA League is also played. The Icelandic Women's Basketball Cup (Icelandic: Bikarkeppni KKÍ) is an annual basketball competition between clubs in Iceland. It is Iceland's first-tier cup competition, and is not to be confused with Iceland's former second-tier cup competition, the Company Cup. The Valur women's basketball team, commonly known as Valur, is a basketball team based in Reykjavík, Iceland. It is part of the Valur multi-sport club. In 2019, it won its first national championship. Recent history Valur played in the 2018 Úrvalsdeild finals, losing to Haukar 2–3. The 2019–20 Úrvalsdeild kvenna is the 63rd season of the Úrvalsdeild kvenna (basketball), Úrvalsdeild kvenna, the top tier women's basketball league on Iceland. The season started on 2 October 2019. On 13 March 2020 the season was postponed for at least four weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, coronavirus outbreak in the country. On 18 March, the rest of the season was canceled. The Stjarnan women's basketball team, commonly known as Stjarnan, is the women's basketball department of Ungmennafélagið Stjarnan, based in the town of Garðabær, Iceland. History In 2009, disgruntled Ármann players, unhappy with poor training facilities and lack of practice time, contacted Stjarnan and inquired if the board would be interested in starting a women's team.
