Sandar IL
Sandar Idrettslag is a sports club from Sandar, Sandefjord, Norway. It was founded on 24 September 1931 as ''Framnes IL'', but the name ''Sandar IL'' was taken already on 13 October 1931. The club has sections for association football and handball, and the team colors are red, black and white. Footballer Jon Midttun Lie played for Sandar IL from age 13 to age 16. In 2008 Lie's then-team Lillestrøm SK faced Sandar in the first round of the Norwegian Cup. Sandar also met another team from Tippeligaen in the first round of the cup in 2007, but lost 5–0 against Sandefjord Fotball. The men's team played in the Third Division, the fourth tier of Norwegian football, but controversially forfeited after three games of the 2010 season. 2007 Norwegian Football Cup
The 2007 Norwegian Football Cup was the 102nd season of Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The competition started on 19 May 2007 with the first-round games and ended on 11 November 2007 with the final. The defending champions were Fredrikstad. The format of the Cup has not changed for this season what means that, unlike other European cup competitions, all teams (including Tippeligaen ones) entered the Cup in the first round. In the First and Second Round amateur teams (or at least lower-placed at the time of the draw) were seeded and played the matches at home ground. From the third round until the end the draw was random. The winners, Lillestrøm, qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2008–09 UEFA Cup. Terese Pedersen
Terese Hosking (Pedersen) (born 27 April 1980 in Sandefjord) is a Norwegian handball goalkeeper. She recently played for Byåsen HE, but is now retired. She started her club career in Larvik, and has also played for Runar, Sandar, Tertnes, and Randers HK. She made her debut on the Norwegian national team in 2004, and played 82 matches with the team. Norwegian Third Division
The Norwegian Third Division, also called Norsk Tipping-Ligaen, is the fourth highest division of the men's football league in Norway. Like the rest of the Norwegian football league system, the season runs from spring to autumn, running approximately from April to October. After the 2010 season, the league was reorganised, reducing the number of teams to 164 and halving the number of parallel sections from 24 to 12. After the 2016 season, the league was again reorganised, reducing the number of teams from 164 to 84, and halved the number of groups from twelve to six. Sandefjord Fotball, often referred to simply as Sandefjord, is a Norwegian professional football club founded on September 10, 1998. The team currently competes in Eliteserien, the top division of the Norwegian football league system, and plays its home matches at the Jotun Arena in Sandefjord, Vestfold. Eliteserien () is a professional association football league in Norway and the highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division.
