San Ramón, Chile
San Ramón (Spanish for "Saint Ramón") is a commune in the Santiago Province, within the Santiago Metropolitan Region of Chile. It is part of the urban area of Greater Santiago. Demographics According to the 2002 census of the National Statistics Institute, San Ramón spans an area of and is entirely an urban area. The commune had 94,906 inhabitants (46,596 men and 48,310 women), with its population falling by 5.9% (5,911 persons) between the 1992 and 2002 censuses. Frente Amplio (Chilean Political Party)
The Frente Amplio (Spanish for Broad Front, FA) is a Chilean left-wing political party and founded in 2024 as a result of the merger of the former coalition of the same name. Platform and ideology The Frente Amplio was formed as a result of the merger of left-wing political parties that aimed to change the political situation of Chile in favor of participative democracy and feminism. The Humanist Party () is a universal humanist, progressive, and left-wing political party in Chile, founded in 1984. The party is a member of the Humanist International. In December 1990, Laura Rodríguez became the first elected representative of any Humanist Party in the world after winning a seat as part of the '' Concertación'' coalition, after Augusto Pinochet handed over power. At the 2001 legislative elections, the party won 1.1% of the vote but no seats.
