San Javier Department, Santa Fe
The San Javier Department (in Spanish, ''Departamento San Javier'') is an administrative subdivision (''departamento'') of the . It is located on the northeast of the province, with its eastern border coinciding with the provincial border along the Paraná River. The department's head town is the city of San Javier, which has over 15,000 inhabitants (more than half the population of the department). The department also includes the towns of Alejandra, Cacique Ariacaiquín, Colonia Durán, La Brava, and Romang. The Vera Department (in Spanish, ''Departamento Vera'') is an administrative subdivision (''departamento'') of the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. It is located in the center-north of the province. It limits Chaco Province to the north, and the departments of General Obligado (east), San Javier (south-east), San Justo (south), San Cristóbal (south-west), and Nueve de Julio (west). The San Justo Department (in Spanish, ''Departamento San Justo'') is an administrative subdivision (''departamento'') of the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. It is located in the center-north of the province. Starting from the north and going clockwise, it limits with the departments of Vera, San Javier, Garay, La Capital, Las Colonias, and San Cristóbal. San Justo is thus one of only three provincial departments that do not share a border with another province. The department has about 40,000 inhabitants, which are distributed in 18 districts. Romang is a municipality located in San Javier, Santa Fe Province, Argentina. The town is located north of the provincial capital Santa Fe on Provincial Route 1. Economy Romang's economy centers around agriculture, livestock, and industry. Two notable businesses are Susarelli, a rice mill with national distribution, and API, a steel foundry and car-part manufacturer that ships throughout the country. Romang's economy is also supplemented by tourism from sport fishing and a large camping ground, Camping Communal Brisol, located along the river.
