Samuel Baños Cardín (born 16 August 1979), known simply as Samuel, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder, currently assistant manager of Sporting de Gijón B. Playing career Samuel was born in Villaviciosa, Asturias. A product of Sporting de Gijón's youth system at ''Mareo'', he spent the vast majority of his career in the Segunda División, with Sporting, Real Murcia CF, Xerez CD, Levante UD, AD Alcorcón and CE Sabadell FC. He amassed totals of 271 matches and nine goals over 13 seasons in that tier, promoting to La Liga with the second and fourth clubs. On 31 August 2012, aged 33, Samuel returned to Segunda División B where he had already represented Sporting B the previous decade, signing for CD Atlético Baleares. Club Deportivo Lealtad de Villaviciosa (English: Loyalty Sporting Club of Villaviciosa) is a Spanish football team based in Villaviciosa, in the autonomous community of Asturias. 2018–19 Tercera División
The 2018–19 Tercera División was the fourth tier in Spanish football. It began in August 2018 and ended in late June 2019 with the promotion play-off finals. Competition format *The top four eligible teams in each group would play the promotion playoffs. *The champion of each group would qualify to 2019–20 Copa del Rey. Segunda División B (English: second division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. 2009–10 Segunda División
The 2009–10 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 79th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 29 August 2009, and the season ended on 19 June 2010. Real Betis, Numancia and Recreativo de Huelva are the teams which were relegated from La Liga the previous season. The teams which were promoted from Segunda División B were: Cádiz (champion), Cartagena (runner-up), Real Unión (play-off winner) and Villarreal B (play-off winner).
