Samson Siasia
Samson Siasia (born 14 August 1967) is a Nigerian former professional football striker and the former head coach of the Nigeria national team from 2010 to October 2011. He was reappointed in 2016. On 16 August 2019, FIFA banned Siasia from all football activities for life (later reduced to five years), following a match-fixing investigation. The adjudicatory chamber of FIFA’s independent Ethics Committee stated in 2019 that the former Nigerian coach had accepted "that he would receive bribes in relation to the manipulation of matches in violation of the FIFA Code of Ethics". Playing career Club At club level, Siasia most notably played for French team FC Nantes where he became league champion in 1994–95. Peter Anosike
Peter Ikechukwu Anosike (born 24 December 1976) is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Anosike started his career with Belgian top flight side AA Gent, where he made two league appearances without scoring. On 21 October 1995, he debuted for AA Gent during a 3–0 loss to Anderlecht. In 1996, he signed for Deinze in the Belgian second tier. The 2009 African Youth Championship is a football tournament for under 20 players. It was held in Rwanda from 18 January until 1 February 2009. It also served as qualification for the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Qualification Preliminary round The first leg was played on either the 18, 19 or 20 April 2008. Football at the 2008 Summer Olympics was held in Beijing and several other cities in the People's Republic of China from 6 to 23 August. Associations affiliated with FIFA were invited to send their full women's national teams and men's U-23 teams to participate. Augustine Owen Eguavoen (born 19 August 1965) is a Nigerian football manager and former player who served as manager of the Nigeria national team three times. Samson Siasia Sports Stadium is a multi-use stadium located in the Yenagoa metropolis, Nigeria.
