Samra (rapper)
Hussein Akkouche (Samra45) (born 15 January 1995), known professionally as Samra, is a Lebanese-German rapper. In November 2018, he had his first TF1 solo number-one in Germany with "Cataleya". In January 2019, Samra was named the winner of the Hiphop.de Award in the Best National Newcomer category. Career Samra (then known as Samra45) first attracted attention on the German rap scene in the autumn of 2016 as a guest performer on Alpa Gun's album ''Zurück zur Straße'' – particularly on "Chaos", where he criticized 187 Strassenbande. Later that year, he was featured on Mert's "U21". Samra was reportedly approached in 2017 by Farid Bang, who was interested in signing the rapper to his Banger Musik label, but Samra refused. The GfK Entertainment charts are the official music charts in Germany and are gathered and published by GfK Entertainment (formerly Media Control and Media Control GfK International), a subsidiary of GfK, on behalf of Bundesverband Musikindustrie. GfK Entertainment is the provider of weekly Top 100 single and album charts, as well as various other chart formats for genres like compilations, jazz, classical music, schlager, hip hop, dance, comedy, and music videos. Following a lawsuit in March 2014 by Media Control AG, Media Control® GfK International had to change its name. Dissemination of the charts is conducted by various media outlets, some of which include MTV music channel, and the Swiss charts website. The Bundesverband Musikindustrie ( English: Federal Music Industry Association), or simply BVMI, represents the music industry in Germany. The association represents the interests of nearly 280 labels and music industry related enterprises, which comprise 90% of the music industry. Bundesverband Musikindustrie is a member of International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), which is based in London, England. IFPI consists of music associations of 70 countries. ''Berlin lebt 2'' ("Berlin Is Alive 2") is the first collaborative studio album by German rappers Capital Bra and Samra. It was released on 4 October 2019 through Bra Music and Urban. The album serves as a continuation of Capital Bra's fourth studio album ''Berlin lebt'' (2018). The album was preceded by five singles, four of which debuted at number one in Germany. The fifth single "110" became Capital Bra's eighteenth and Samra's tenth number-one single in Germany. Additionally, the rappers reached number one in Germany for the sixth time as a duo.
