Samantha Kolowratová
Samantha Ahn Kolowratová, also known as Sammy Kolowrat (born 12 July 1996) is a Czech ice hockey player. As a member of the Czech national team, she participated in the women's ice hockey tournament at the 2022 Winter Olympics and six IIHF Women's World Championships. Kolowratová most recently played with Brynäs IF of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) during the 2021–22 season. Playing career Across 141 NCAA games with the Vermont Catamounts women's ice hockey program, she scored 28 points and served as the team's captain in her final season. She was named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team in 2016 and 2017. After spending a year away from hockey completing her master's degree, she signed with the Metropolitan Riveters ahead of the 2020–21 NWHL season. Hockey East
The Hockey East Association, also known as Hockey East, is a college ice hockey conference which operates entirely in New England. It participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. Hockey East came into existence in 1984 for men's hockey when most of its current members split from what is today known as ECAC Hockey, after disagreements with the Ivy League members. The women's league began play in 2002. On October 5, 2011, the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish (an ACC member outside football) announced they would be joining Hockey East as the conference's first non-New England school in 2013 after the CCHA folded. The 2012 U18 IIHF Women's World Championship was the fifth IIHF U18 Women's World Championship and was hosted in Zlín and Přerov, Czech Republic. The IIHF U18 Women's World Championship, officially the IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women's World Championship, is an annual ice hockey tournament for national women's under-18 (U18) ice hockey teams, administered by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Qualification for the women's tournament at the 2022 Winter Olympics was determined by the IIHF World Ranking following the 2020 Women's Ice Hockey World Championships. The 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship was an international ice hockey tournament organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), which was contested in Calgary, Alberta, from 20 to 31 August 2021, at WinSport Arena. It was originally scheduled to be contested in Halifax and Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada. It was the 20th edition of the IIHF Women's World Championship Top Division tournament. No divisional promotion and relegation occurred after this tournament as the Division I tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally scheduled from 7 to 17 April, the tournament was postponed to 6 to 16 May 2021 on 4 March. The 2019 IIHF Women's World Championship was an international Ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation.
