Sam Quek
Samantha Ann Quek (born 18 October 1988) is an English former field hockey player and television presenter. She played as a defender for both the England women's national field hockey team, England and Great Britain women's national field hockey team, Great Britain teams, wearing squad number 13, and won gold as part of the British team at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Quek has presented various television sports shows, including American football on the BBC, rugby union on Channel 5 (UK), Channel 5, field hockey on BT Sport, and football for Channel 4 and LFC TV. She has appeared as a contestant on shows including ''I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding valuable service in a wide range of useful activities. Wirral Peninsula
The Wirral Peninsula (), known locally as the Wirral, is a peninsula in North West England. The roughly rectangular peninsula is about long and wide, and is bounded by the Dee Estuary to the west, the Mersey Estuary to the east, and Liverpool Bay to the north. Historically, the Wirral was wholly in Cheshire; in the Domesday Book, its border with the rest of the county was placed at "two arrow falls from Chester city walls". West Derby ( ) is an area of Liverpool, Merseyside, England, in the east of the city. At the 2011 Census, the population was 14,382. History West Derby Mentioned in the ''Domesday Book'', West Derby achieved significance far earlier than Liverpool itself. The name West Derby comes from an Old Norse word meaning "place of the wild beasts" or "wild deer park" and refers to the deer park (now Croxteth Park) established there by King Edward the Confessor.
