Salt Springs is a Syracuse, New York neighborhood, located in the northeastern corner of the city. It corresponds to Onondaga County Census Tract xx. Borders Salt Springs is one of the 26 officially recognized neighborhoods of Syracuse, New York. It is located on the east side of the city. Le Moyne College is located just east of the neighborhood. Geography It borders three other Syracuse neighborhoods, with Eastwood to the north, Near Eastside to the west, and Meadowbrook to the south. Residential Ashton House is one historic home in the neighborhood, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Commercial It contains the Le Moyne Plaza, owned by Le Moyne College. Eastwood is a neighborhood in the eastern part of Syracuse, New York, located adjacent to East Syracuse, New York, United States. History Eastwood was originally a village, and as a suburb of Syracuse, was named for its easterly direction from that place. Meadowbrook is a Syracuse, New York neighborhood, located in the southeastern corner of the city. It corresponds to Onondaga County Census Tract 46. It is named after Meadow Brook, which runs through it and into Butternut Creek. Borders Its northern border runs along Salt Springs and Springfield Roads to the north, where it borders the Salt Springs neighborhood. To the west, its borders are Westmoreland Avenue, Cumberland Avenue, and Nottingham Road, where it borders the Westcott and University neighborhoods. To the south and east the neighborhood borders the Town of DeWitt. Streets Meadowbrook is bisected by New York State Route 92, East Genesee Street.
