Salpasilichho () is one of seven Gaunpalika, rural municipalities (गाउँपालिका) of Bhojpur District, Nepal, Bhojpur District of Province No. 1 of Nepal. Out of 9 municipalities in Bhojpur District, Nepal, Bhojpur, 2 are urban and 7 rural. According to Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (Nepal), MoFALD Salpasilichho has an area of and the total population of the municipality is 12,284 as of 2021 Nepal census, Census of Nepal 2021. To form this new Rural Municipality Dobhane, Khatamma, Chaukidanda and Kulunga were merged, which previously were Village development committee (Nepal), Village development committee (local level administrative villages). Chaukidanda
Chaukidanda is an administrative Headquarter of Salpasilichho Rural Municipality in Bhojpur District, Nepal, Bhojpur District in the Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. It is ward no.-3 too on newly formed Salpasilichho Rural Municipality in northern part of District. It is headquarter of Salpasilichho Rural Municipality. Many construction projects for municipality are underway. Land revenue office, hospitals, agricultural service centers are going to establish. Nabil Bank, "A" class bank in the country has its branch here which provides all banking facilities. Sankhuwa-sabha district lies in north of Chaukidanda. In east Kulung, in south Nepaledanda and Kudak kaule and in the west Khatamma local ward level body lies. Chaukidanda is trekking route to Khumbu area of Solukhumbu district from east Nepal.
