Sallent (Pinell De Solsonès)
Sallent de Llobregat () or Sallent is a municipality in the comarca of Bages, Province of Barcelona, in the Autonomous Community of Catalonia, Spain. The river Llobregat divides the municipality into two halves. Its main resources are mining and industry. It was the birthplace of Anthony Mary Claret, Saint Anthony Mary Claret (1807–1870) and goalkeeper Joan García (2001). Joan García Pons (born 4 May 2001) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for La Liga club Barcelona. Anthony Mary Claret, (born Antoni Maria Claret i Clarà; ; December 23, 1807 – October 24, 1870) was a Spanish Catholic prelate and missionary who served as Archbishop of Santiago de Cuba and was the confessor of Isabella II of Spain. He founded the congregation of Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, commonly called the Claretians. The Llobregat () is the second longest river in Catalonia, Spain, after the Ter. It flows into the Mediterranean south of the city of Barcelona.
