Franklin County is a County (United States), county on the eastern border of the U.S. state of Indiana. In the 2020 United States census, the county population was 22,785. The county seat is the town of Brookville, Indiana, Brookville. Franklin County is part of the Cincinnati metropolitan area, Cincinnati, OH–KY–IN Metropolitan Statistical Area.
