Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce (, ) is a municipality in the Municipalité régionale de comté de Beauce-Sartigan in Quebec, Canada. It is part of the Chaudière-Appalaches region and the population was 2,567 as of the Canadian census of 2011. It was named after Ephrem the Syrian. Rivière Des Hamel
The rivière des Hamel (''in English: Hamel River'') is a tributary of the west bank of Bras Saint-Victor which flows into the Chaudière River; the latter flows northward to empty on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River. Beauce-Sartigan is a regional county municipality in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, Canada. The county seat is Saint-Georges. The Chaudière River flows through it. It shares its eastern border with Maine, United States. The name of the RCM is linked to the historical region of which it is part, Beauce. Sainte-Clotilde-de-Beauce () is a municipality located in the Municipalité régionale de comté des Appalaches in Quebec, Canada. It is part of the Chaudière-Appalaches region and the population is 569 as of 2021. It was named after Clotilde, Frankish queen and wife of Clovis I. "Beauce" refers to the municipality's former census division and helps to its differentiation with other Quebec municipalities named "Sainte-Clotilde." Adstock is a municipality in the Les Appalaches Regional County Municipality in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, Canada. Its population in the Canada 2021 Census was 2,903. Adstock was created on February 14, 2001, after the amalgamation of Saint-Méthode-de-Frontenac, Quebec, Saint-Méthode-de-Frontenac and Sacré-Coeur-de-Marie-Partie-Sud, Quebec, Sacré-Coeur-de-Marie-Partie-Sud. On October 24, 2001, Sainte-Anne-du-Lac, Chaudière-Appalaches, Quebec, Sainte-Anne-du-Lac joined the new municipality. Woodstock En Beauce
Woodstock en Beauce was a yearly weekend-long music festival held in St-Ephrem-de-Beauce, Quebec, Canada. It was created in 1995 with the intention to re-create the atmosphere of the original Woodstock Festival in 1969, emphasizing on the atmosphere of peace and fun. The first edition of the festival attracted about 5,000 people, but it now attracts crowds of over 78,000 people. It has been nominated three times at the ADISQ awards in the category for the event of the year. On October 17, 2014, it was announced that the 2014 edition would be the final one, putting an end to the festival after 20 years. On February 19, 2015, it was revealed on their Facebook page that the music festival would make a comeback in 2016, but there would be no festival in 2015, making it the first year since the foundation of the event to be skipped.
