Sailing At The 1936 Summer Olympics – 8 Metre
The 8 Metre (keelboat), 8 Metre was a sailing event on the Sailing at the 1936 Summer Olympics program in Kiel Fjord, Firth of Kiel. Seven races were scheduled. 60 sailors, on 10 boats, from 10 nations competed. Results DNF = Did Not Finish, DNS= Did Not Start, DSQ = Disqualified, SO = Sailed over = Male, = Female Daily standings Conditions at the Outer Course All starts were scheduled for 10:30. Kiel Fjord
Kiel ( ; ) is the capital and most populous city in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein. With a population of around 250,000, it is Germany's largest city on the Baltic Sea.
