Saho (film)
''Saho'' (; ) is a 2023 Sri Lankan Sinhala drama film directed by Professor Ariyaratne Athugala and co-produced by Dr. Bandula Gunawardena, H. D. Premasiri and Ravindra Guruge. The film stars Dasun Pathirana and Dinara Punchihewa in lead roles along with Biyanka Amarasinghe, Harshi Anjumala and Sonduru Lokupothagama in supportive roles. The film received positive reviews from critics and made international awards at many global film festivals. Plot The film revolves around a group of College Students and their experiences. Bandula Gunawardena
Sumithra Arachchige Don Bandula Chandrasiri Gunawardane (born 15 March 1953) is a Sri Lankan politician, teacher, and film producer, who was a member of the Parliament of Sri Lanka for Colombo District, and a former government minister. Early life He was born in Mabula village, in Avisasalwella Electorate, Colombo District, Sri Lanka. His primary education was at Roman Catholic School in Mabula and for secondary education he entered Rajasinghe Central College. He entered Lumbini College for his Advanced Level studies and entered University of Sri Jayewardenepura after passing A/Ls in commerce stream. Career He was a tutor in the city which he started as a hobby while he was still in the university. He successfully contested the 1989 parliamentary election as a candidate for the Mahajana Eksath Peramuna party, and entered parliament. He was defeated in the subsequent 1994 parliamentary election. Dasun Pathirana
Dasun Pathirana (born 26 July 1985, as දසුන් පතිරණ) inhala, is a model and actor in Sri Lankan cinema, theater and television. He won an award at Indie Fest 2014 as best actor in a leading role. He received his first Sarasaviya award in 2018. Personal life Pathirana was born on born 26 July 1985 and studied in Carey College, Colombo. He studied drama and acting under Mahendra Perea's academy of acting and drama. He had one younger sister, Deshani who was born in 1996. Indrachapa Liyanage (; born 13 May 1981) is a Sri Lankan singer, musician, record producer, and composer known for his contributions to rock and pop music, as well as his work in film music and social activism. Biography Indrachapa Liyanage was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on 13 May 1981. He attended Royal College, Horana, and later Ananda College, Colombo. His music career began in the late 1990s at Ananda College, where he collaborated with schoolmates, including Kasun Kalhara, under the guidance of K. M. Rathnapala.
