Sage (comics)
Sage, also known as Tessa, is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She has most often been associated with the X-Men and the Hellfire Club, whom she spied upon for Professor Charles Xavier. A mutant, Sage possesses a number of mental abilities and was originally presented as the personal assistant to the Hellfire Club's Sebastian Shaw, but an extended retcon revealed that she was one of the first mutants discovered by Professor Xavier. She has been a member of the original X-Men teams, Excalibur, the Exiles, and a cross-dimensional X-Men team similar to the Exiles known as the X-Treme X-Men. Sage appears in the television series '' The Gifted'' played by Hayley Lovitt. Salvador Larroca
Salvador Larroca () is a Spanish comic book artist, primarily known for his American work on various ''X-Men'' titles for Marvel Comics. Career After several years of working as a cartographer, he began working as a comic artist at Marvel UK, the Britain-based imprint of Marvel Comics. Larroca was working at Marvel UK when he contributed to ''Dark Angel'' and ''Death's Head II.'' At some point, Larroca began to work on mainstream North American comics, such as DC Comics' ''Flash''. Afterwards, Larroca did a three-year run on Marvel Comics' ''Ghost Rider'', during the mid-1990s. It was not until after his run on ''Ghost Rider'', that Larroca would gain the exposure needed to become known as one of the most prominent comic book artists in the United States. Sebastian Shaw (comics)
Sebastian Hiram Shaw is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He has been frequently depicted as an adversary of the X-Men. A mutant, Shaw possesses the ability to absorb energy and transform it into his own raw strength. He is the leader of the New York branch of the Hellfire Club, an exclusive secret society composed of mutants bent on world domination, although to the public, he is a legitimate businessman and ordinary human. He once funded the mutant-hunting Sentinel program to keep it under his thumb. In 2009, Shaw was ranked as IGN's 55th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time. Kevin Bacon played the character in the 2011 film '' X-Men: First Class''. Donald Pierce is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is depicted as a cyborg and is commonly an enemy of the X-Men. The character was portrayed by Boyd Holbrook in the 2017 film '' Logan''. Publication history Donald Pierce first appeared in ''The Uncanny X-Men'' #132 April 1980, and was created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. Pierce's name and appearance were modeled by Byrne upon Donald Sutherland. The character's last name comes from Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce, Sutherland's character in the 1970 film ''M*A*S*H''.
