Sabinsky District
Sabinsky District (; ) is a Administrative divisions of the Republic of Tatarstan, territorial administrative unit and Municipal divisions of Russia, municipal district of the Tatarstan, Republic of Tatarstan within the Russia, Russian Federation. The district is located in the northern part of the republic. The administrative center is the urban-type settlement Bogatye Saby. The total area of the Sabinsky district is 1097.7 km2. As of 2020, people reside in the district. The ethnic composition of the region is 96% Tatars, 3% Russians, and 1% representatives of other nationalities. The settlement of the territory of the modern Sabinsky district began in the Neolithic era. The first mention of the village of Bogatye Saby date back to the 13th century. Arsky District (; ) – is a territorial administrative unit and municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan within the Russian Federation. The district is located in the northern part of the republic. The administrative center is the city of Arsk. The district has several natural monuments including the source of the Kazanka river, Yanga-Salinsky slope, the Korsin grey heron colony, Tukai-kyrlay forest, Ayu Urmany, Kazanka and Shoshma rivers. Arsk Canton
Arsk Canton (known as Kazan Canton at the time of its foundation) was an administrative division (a сanton) of the Tatar ASSR in 1920–;1930. Its area was 7,500 km; population: 375,000. In 1926, 59.2% of the population were Tatars, 37.5%—Russians, and 2.7%— Udmurts. The administrative center of the canton was the town of Arsk. In 1929, the canton consisted of fifteen volosts.
