SSSS.Gridman
''SSSS.Gridman'' (stylized as ''SSSS.GRIDMΛN'') is a Japanese anime television series adaptation of the 1993–1994 ''tokusatsu'' series '' Denkou Choujin Gridman''. The production is a joint collaboration between Tsuburaya Productions, the production company behind ''Gridman'' and the ''Ultra Series'', and Trigger. It was broadcast for 12 episodes from October to December 2018. A sequel, titled '' SSSS.Dynazenon'', was broadcast from April to June 2021. Synopsis The story focuses on Yūta Hibiki, an amnesiac first-year high school student living in the fictional Japanese city of Tsutsujidai. He meets the Hyper Agent Gridman in an old computer, who states that the boy has a mission he must fulfill; Yūta sets out to find the meaning to those words and his memory loss. The sudden appearance of kaiju eventually changes the usual dynamics of Yūta and his classmates. Gridman Universe
is a 2023 Japanese animated film produced by Studio Trigger. The anime film is set in the Gridman Universe that is originally created by Tsuburaya Productions, and features characters from ''SSSS.Gridman'' and '' SSSS.Dynazenon''. The film was released on March 24, 2023, by Toho Animation. Plot After their world was saved by Gridman and Akane Shinjo returned to the real world, Yūta, Rikka, and Utsumi return to their normal lives, though Yūta still has to adjust to losing two months of his memories due to being possessed by Gridman during that time. Rikka and Utsumi work on writing a script for a play their class will perform in the upcoming school festival based on their experiences with Gridman, while Yūta tries to work up the courage to confess his feelings to Rikka. Gridman The Hyper Agent
, known as ''Gridman the Hyper Agent'' in some English-speaking territories, is a 1993–1994 Japanese tokusatsu " Giant Hero" series created by Tsuburaya Productions (the producers of '' Ultraman'') and would be Tsuburaya's last non-Ultra superhero production before '' Bio Planet WoO''. It was the inspiration and source material for DiC Entertainment's '' Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad''. Shot on live video, ''Gridman'' was the first series by Tsuburaya Productions to utilize D-2 digital video for its special effects scenes, allowing for smoother slow-motion photography. Tsuburaya, having switched to digital techniques since then, would continue to use D-2 for all future productions. is a Japanese screenwriter from Atami, Japan. History After graduating from Nihon University's Art Department with a degree in film studies, Hasegawa made his debut as an assistant director with the unreleased film ''Kuchita Teoshiguruma''. Shirō Sagisu
is a Japanese composer, arranger and music producer. With a career spanning over 40 years (beginning in the late 1970s), he is best known for his works as a record producer for acts including various choir members Mike Wyzgowski, Misia, Satoshi Tomiie, and Ken Hirai. Sagisu has also worked as a film composer for several anime and films and is well known for his collaborations with Gainax, especially the soundtrack to Hideaki Anno's series ''Neon Genesis Evangelion''. Sagisu's career in music started in 1977, when he became one of the members of jazz fusion band T-Square. He made three albums with the group before becoming a full-time composer and writer in 1979.
