SL C9
The SL Cx series is the collective designation for the C1–C15 types of metro trains used on the Stockholm Metro from 1950 until 2024. Over 800 Cx cars were built in total. They were manufactured by ASEA, Hägglund & Söner, and Svenska Järnvägsverkstäderna (ASJ), and underwent significant technical development during their production span. The cars were typically operated in 6 or 8-car formations, which constituted a full-length train of approximately 140 metres. The Cx cars were designed for interoperability, and most types could be freely mixed within a train. The Cx series formed the entirety of Stockholm’s metro fleet from its inception until the introduction of the C20 units in 1997. The last Cx units were withdrawn from service on the metro in February 2024, following the introduction of the C30 units in 2020. Spårvägsmuseet
The Spårvägsmuseet, or Tramway Museum, is a museum in Stockholm, Sweden. It is owned and operated by Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (the Greater Stockholm Local Transit Company), and shows the development of public transportation in the Stockholm area from the 1650s until today. The Museum's mission also covers contemporary and future public transport in the Stockholm region, and water transportation in the area. The museum also houses a library, an archive and a café. The museum was formerly located at Tegelviksgatan 22 in the Södermalm district. It was closed to the public in September 2017 and reopened in May 2022 in a former gasworks building in the Hjorthagen neighbourhood. Kymlinge
Kymlinge () is an area of Sundbyberg Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. It is mostly a recreational park, part of which is a nature reserve ( Igelbäcken). History The area has been inhabited since the Iron Age. The name is known since 1347, then as ''Kymmelinghe''. Until the beginning of the 20th century, the area was still used as a farm. Since the farm was abandoned, the area has been kept as a park. In the 1970s there were plans to develop the area as a suburb, mainly to accommodate government agencies, state-owned enterprises and other offices moving out from central Stockholm (they needed larger offices). The plans were eventually scrapped, for several reasons. The suburbanisation of Stockholm had already peaked, and some government agencies were instead relocated to other cities in Sweden.
