SGH-D500
The Samsung SGH-D500 is a Slider (mobile phones), slider-style mobile phone developed and designed by Samsung. It was announced on October 8, 2004 and released at the end of the year as a replacement of the SGH-E800. Considered to be stylish, and incorporating multimedia features such as a 1.3 megapixel digital camera with integrated LED flash, Bluetooth and a MP3 player, MP3 music player, the D500 became very popular and is credited with popularising the 'active' Slider (mobile phones), sliding phone concept across all brands. The D500 won the prestigious award "Best Mobile Handset" at the Mobile World Congress, 3GSM world congress in Cannes, 2005. The phone sold 10 million units worldwide. Samsung D600
The Samsung SGH-D600 (and its successor, the D600i) is a GSM mobile phone released in the first quarter of 2005 made by Samsung Electronics. The SGH-D600i is a later version of the SGH-D600, released in 2007 to address issues concerning microSD card support. Features and specifications The Samsung SGH-D600 is the successor to the Samsung SGH-D500, and differs from it with a slightly revised design, a higher resolution 2-megapixel camera located outside the sliding area instead of inside, TV output, and support for microSD external flash memory cards. It also includes a Picsel Viewer for Microsoft Office documents. It is available in two colors, grey and red. The SGH-D600 also includes a camera with a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 240x320 pixel screen. The form factor of a mobile phone is its size, shape, and style, as well as the layout and position of its major components. Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE), also known as 2.75G and under various other names, is a 2G digital mobile phone technology for packet switching, packet switched data transmission. It is a subset of General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) on the GSM network and improves upon it offering speeds close to 3G technology, hence the name 2.75G. Samsung GT-S5230, variously marketed as Tocco Lite, Avila, Samsung Star and Samsung Player One, is an entry-level touchscreen phone announced in March 2009 and released in May 2009 by Samsung. It was highly popular as a cheap touch phone, with Samsung reporting sales of 30 million by December 2010. It is available in black, white, and pink, and there are gold and silver special editions. The phone has a 3.0" LCD with 262K Color WQVGA. In total the device measures 104x53x11.9 mm. It uses a WAP 2.0 browser and makes use of Java MIDP 2.0 as its Java support platform. It useS3C2410(CPU) at 200 MHz.
