SAFF U-15 Women's Championship
The SAFF U-15/U-16/U-17 Women's Championship is association football tournament for women's national teams under the age of 15/16/17. The tournament is organized by South Asian Football Federation, South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). History The tournament began in 2017 and is hosted every other year. For 2021, the decision was made to make the tournament a U-16 tournament versus the previous three iterations which had been U-15. However, the tournament was ultimately postponed. Later, Bangladesh was declared to be the host of the 4th edition, which is going to take place in U-15 format on late 2022. Rupna Chakma
Rupna Chakma (; ) is a Bangladeshi football player who plays for the Bangladesh women's national football team and Bashundhara Kings Women. She was part of the Bangladesh team that won the 2022 and 2024 SAFF Women's Championship and was named "The best goalkeeper" in both of those tournament. Chakma played in the under-16 team in 2019. Early life Rupana was born in the village of Bhuiyodam, located in the Ghilachari hills of Naniarchar Upazila, Rangamati, Bangladesh. Her father, Gatha Moni Chakma, passed away before her birth. Her mother, Kalosona Chakma, raised Rupana and her three siblings, earning a livelihood as a day laborer in agricultural fields. SAFF U-17 Championship
The SAFF U-15/U-16/U-17 Championship is an annual international football competition contested by the national teams of the members of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). The first edition was held as ''SAFF U-16 Championship'', where most teams sent their U-15 team, keeping in mind AFC U-17 Asian Cup hold every following years to SAFF U-16 Championship. In the 2017 edition, it was held as ''SAFF U-15 Championship'' and the subsequent 2022 edition, the ''SAFF U-17 Championship'' was introduced. The first edition of the tournament took place in Nepal in August 2011. The competition was launched under the leadership of SAFF President Kazi Salahuddin who was elected in 2009. Saiful Bari Titu ( Bengali: সাইফুল বারী টিটু; born 3 August 1972) is a Bangladeshi football coach and former football player, who currently serves as the technical director of the Bangladesh Football Federation and most recently served as the head coach of both the BFF Elite Academy and Bangladesh U17. He is the former head coach of the Bangladesh national team, which he guided in the AFC Challenge Cup Finals in Colombo, in early 2010. He is an AFC Pro-Diploma holder. Golam Robbani Choton () (born 2 July 1968) is a Bangladeshi professional football manager and former player, who is the current managing Bangladesh Army Football Team. He was the former head coach of Bangladesh women's under-14, Bangladesh women's under-17, Bangladesh women's under-20 and Bangladesh women's national football team.
