Sporting Clube Farense, simply known as Farense, is a Portuguese professional association football, football club based in Faro, Portugal, Faro in the Faro District, district of the same name and the region of Algarve. Founded in 1910, the club has played in the Primeira Liga since the 2023–24 season after promotion from the Liga Portugal 2. Estádio De São Luís
The Estádio de São Luís, also known as Santo Stadium, is a multi-use stadium located in Faro, Algarve, Portugal. It serves as the home stadium for Sporting Clube Farense, a football club based in Faro. The stadium was opened in 1923 and has a seating capacity of around 7,000 spectators. It was continuously used by Farense from 1924, when it became the club's main tenant until 2004 when Farense relocated to the newly built Algarve Stadium. Taça De Portugal
The Taça de Portugal (; ) is an annual association football competition and the premier knockout tournament in Portuguese football. For sponsorship reasons, it has been known as Taça de Portugal Generali Tranquilidade since the 2024–25 season. Organised by the Portuguese Football Federation since it was first held in 1938, the competition is open to professional and amateur clubs from the top-four league divisions. Matches are played from August–September to May–June, and the final is traditionally held at the Estádio Nacional in Oeiras, near Lisbon. 2024-25 Primeira Liga
A coxless four, abbreviated as a 4- and also called a straight four, is a racing shell used in the sport of competitive rowing. It is designed for four persons who propel the boat with sweep oars, without a coxswain. The crew consists of four rowers, each having one oar. There are two rowers on the stroke side (rower's right hand side) and two on the bow side (rower's lefthand side). As there is no coxswain, the rudder is controlled by one of the crew, normally with the rudder cable attached to the toe of one of their shoes which can pivot about the ball of the foot, moving the cable left or right. José Mota (footballer, Born 1964)
José Albano Ferreira da Mota (born 25 February 1964) is a Portuguese retired footballer who played mainly as a right-back, currently manager of Primeira Liga club AVS. He spent most of his playing career with Paços de Ferreira, where he also began working as a coach and won two Segunda Liga titles. In two decades as a manager, he led eight teams in the Primeira Liga, and won the Taça de Portugal for Aves in 2018.
