Régis Campo
Régis Campo (born 6 July 1968) is a French composer. Biography He studied composition with Georges Boeuf at the Conservatory of Marseille. Then he entered the Conservatoire de Paris in the classes of Alain Bancquart and Gérard Grisey, where he obtained his first composition prize in 1995. In 1992 he studied with Edison Denisov who considered him "one of the most gifted of his generation." His style, often described as playful and colorful, departs the great aesthetic trends of the late twentieth century with emphasis on melodic invention and tempos of great vitality. From 1999 to 2001 he was resident at the Villa Medici. In Europe and around thirty countries around the world, many artists have played his music. Carolina Eyck (born 26 December 1987) is a German- Sorb musician specialising in playing the Theremin, an electronic instrument. Strasbourg Opera House
The Strasbourg Opera House (), located on Place Broglie on the Grande Île in the city center of Strasbourg, in the French department of the Bas-Rhin, is the main seat and mother house of the opera company Opéra national du Rhin. It has been classified as a Monument historique since 1921. History After a fire in 1800 that destroyed a previous opera house, also located on Place Broglie, the Strasbourg municipality set up plans for a new one in 1804. As the Napoleonic Empire came and went, the plans for the ''théâtre municipal'' were altered several times, until the building, designed in the Neoclassical style by architect Jean-Nicolas Villot (1782–1857) finally opened to great acclaim in 1821. Altinoglu
Alain Altinoglu (born 9 October 1975) is a French conductor of Armenian descent. Biography Born in Paris, into an Armenian family who were originally from Istanbul, Altinoglu studied music at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. After finishing his studies at the Conservatoire, he joined the school's faculty and became director of the conducting class there in 2014. Alain Altinoglu is one of the first conductors to conduct a production wholly, or partially composed of electronic music.
