Latin liturgical rites, or Western liturgical rites, are Catholic rites of public worship employed by the Latin Church, the largest particular church '' sui iuris'' of the Catholic Church, that originated in Europe where the Latin language once dominated. Its language is now known as Ecclesiastical Latin. The most used rite is the Roman Rite. The Latin rites were for many centuries no less numerous than the liturgical rites of the Eastern autonomous particular churches. Their number is now much reduced. Três Lagoas ("Three Ponds") is a municipality in Mato Grosso do Sul Mato Grosso do Sul () is one of the Midwestern states of Brazil. In church governance, a diocese or bishopric is the ecclesiastical district under the jurisdiction of a bishop.
