Rogers Public Schools (formally Rogers Public School District #30) is a public school district based in Rogers, Arkansas, United States. As of the 2012-2013 school year, the district encompasses of land and serves early childhood, elementary and secondary education to numerous Benton County communities. Service area In addition to most of Rogers, the district includes Avoca, Lost Bridge Village, Lowell, Prairie Creek, most of Garfield and Little Flock, and portions of Bentonville, Cave Springs, Gateway, Pea Ridge, and Springdale (including portions of the former municipality of Bethel Heights). Rogers is a city in Benton County, Arkansas, United States. Located in the Ozarks, it is part of the Northwest Arkansas region, one of the fastest growing metro areas in the country. Rogers was the location of the first Walmart store, whose corporate headquarters is located in neighboring Bentonville. Daisy Outdoor Products, known for its air rifles, has both its headquarters and its Airgun Museum in Rogers. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 55,964. Pea Ridge is a city in Benton County, Arkansas, United States. The name Pea Ridge is derived from a combination of the physical location of the original settlement of the town, across the crest of an Ozark Mountains ridge, and for the hog peanuts or turkey peas that had been originally cultivated by Native American tribes centuries before European settlement, which later helped to provide basic subsistence once those pioneer settlers arrived. The rural town is best known as the location of the pivotal American Civil War engagement the Battle of Pea Ridge, or, as it is locally known, the Battle of Elkhorn Tavern, which took place approximately east of the town. Garfield Elementary School (Garfield, Arkansas)
The Garfield Elementary School is a historic school building on United States Route 62 in Garfield, Arkansas, near its junction with Arkansas Highway 127. It is a public elementary school of Rogers Public Schools. It is a single-story rusticated stone building, built in 1941 to replace a nearby building which had fallen into disrepair. It is a T-shaped structure, with a long east–west section housing offices and classrooms, and a projecting auditorium to the rear. The prominent features of the main façade are two projecting castellated entrance porticos, which have raised parapets, and segmented-arch openings. Bethel Heights, Arkansas
Bethel Heights was a city in Benton County, Arkansas, United States. Always a small, sparsely populated community, the region coalesced around a school named Bethel in the late 19th century but did not incorporate until 1967 to avoid annexation by larger neighboring communities. The town offered police and fire protection and wastewater service to residents, but sent students to Springdale Public Schools and purchased water from Springdale Water Utilities. By the 21st century, Northwest Arkansas was gaining population rapidly, and Bethel Heights reincorporated as a city and grew from a population of 714 in 2000 to 2,372 at the 2010 census.
