Real Madrid Baloncesto B (English: Real Madrid Basketball B) is the reserve team of Real Madrid. The team currently plays in the amateur level 4th tier level league of Spain, the Liga EBA. History The reserve team of Real Madrid was founded in 1955, as CB Fiesta Alegre, but it had played games since 1931. Fiesta Alegre was also known later as, Club Hesperia. With this name it played during three seasons, in the Liga Nacional, the top-tier level Spanish league, and in a final of the Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup). Hesperia was the only reserve team which could play in these games. Hesperia resigned from its place in the league in 1960. In 1998, the team was re-founded, and since then, it has continued competing, despite a break between 2003 and 2006. In 2006, it started to play in the LEB 2 division. Liga Española de Baloncesto Aficionado (EBA), commonly known as Liga EBA, is a Spanish basketball championship that is the fourth tier level in the Spanish basketball league system, after the Liga ACB The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, ..., LEB Oro, and LEB Plata. It is administered by the FEB. It was previously the Spanish second tier level competition from 1994 to 1996, the third tier level from 1996 to 2000, and the fifth tier level, from 2007 to 2009. The Liga EBA is made up of five inter-regional groups. After the regular season, sixteen teams advance to the playoffs, where only four teams are promoted to the LEB Plata. The 2017–18 Liga EBA season was the 24th season of the Spanish basketball fourth league. The season started in September 2017 and ended in May 2018 with the promotion playoffs to LEB Plata. Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament
The Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament is an international boy's youth age basketball tournament that is contested between the best basketball clubs in Europe in the Under-18 age category. The tournament is organized by Euroleague Basketball, and is sponsored by Adidas. The tournament's Final Four takes place during the senior men's EuroLeague Final Four event.
