Innlandet
Innlandet is a Counties of Norway, county in Norway. It was created on 1 January 2020 with the merger of the old counties of Oppland and Hedmark (Jevnaker Municipality and Lunner Municipality were transferred to the neighboring county of Viken (Norwegian county), Viken on the same date). The new county has an area of , making it the largest county in Norway after the division of the old Troms og Finnmark county in 2024. The region was known as Opplandene or Opplanda since the middle ages. Tverrådalskyrkja is a mountain on the border of Skjåk Municipality in Innlandet county and Luster Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Breheimen mountains and inside the Breheimen National Park, just north of the large Harbardsbreen glacier. It is north of the village of Skjolden in Luster and southwest of Bismo in Skjåk. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Tundradalskyrkja to the east, Holåtindan to the southeast, Røykeskardhøi to the west, and Syrtbyttnosi to the northwest. The tall main peak is also called ''Store Tverrådalskyrkja''. About southwest of the main peak, there is a second peak at a height of , called ''Søre Tverrådalskyrkja''. Jostedal
Jostedal is a former municipality in the old Sogn og Fjordane county in Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1963. It was located in the Jostedalen valley in the northern part of the present-day municipality of Luster, in Vestland county, north of the village of Gaupne. The administrative centre was also located near the Jostedal Church in the central part of the valley. History Jostedal was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt law). During the 1960s, there were many municipal mergers across Norway due to the work of the Schei Committee.
