Róbert Madej
Róbert Madej (born 3 January 1981 in Zvolen) is a Slovak attorney and former politician, who served as a member of the National Council from 2002 to 2020. Madej studied law at the Comenius University, graduating in 2004. Already as a student, he was included on the electoral list of the Direction – Slovak Social Democracy party in 2002 following his victory in student essay competition organized by the party along with a fellow winner Edita Angyalová. In 2013 he received his PhD in law from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University. John Amos Comenius (; ; ; ; Latinized: ''Ioannes Amos Comenius''; 28 March 1592 – 15 November 1670) was a Czech philosopher, pedagogue and theologian who is considered the father of modern education. The National Council of the Slovak Republic (, abbreviated to ''NR SR'') is the national parliament of Slovakia. It is unicameralism, unicameral and consists of 150 members, who are elected by universal suffrage under proportional representation with seats distributed via largest remainder method with Hagenbach-Bischoff quota every four years. Slovakia's parliament has been called the 'National Council' since 1 October 1992.
