Robert Machan (born 18 October 1948) is a former professional tennis player from Hungary. He enjoyed most of his tennis success while playing doubles. Adriano Panatta (born 9 July 1950) is an Italian former professional tennis player. He won the French Open in 1976 French Open – Men's singles, 1976, becoming the first Italian man in the Open Era to win a Grand Slam (tennis)#Tournaments, major singles title. János Benyik
János Benyik (born 4 June 1951) is a Hungarian former professional tennis player. Biography Benyik, a right-handed player, was a two-time Hungarian national champion and competed on the professional tour in the 1970s. While playing on the Grand Prix circuit he had wins over Frank Froehling, Paolo Bertolucci and Eliot Teltscher. He twice reached the quarter-finals of the Austrian Open and as a doubles player was a finalist at Shreveport in 1975, partnering Róbert Machán. His only grand slam singles main draw appearance came at the 1976 French Open, where his first round opponent Antonio Muñoz won after being two sets down. Between 1976 and 1983 he played 16 Davis Cup matches for Hungary, all in singles, from a total of nine ties. Paolo Bertolucci (; born 3 August 1951) is an Italian former professional tennis player. He is currently working as a sport commentator for Italian SKY Italia, Sky TV. Bertolucci won the Davis Cup with Italy in 1976. His greatest success on ATP Tour was the victory at the 1977 Hamburg Masters, where he beat Manuel Orantes in the final in four sets. The Florence Open was a defunct men's tennis tournament founded also known as the International City of Florence Tournament or Torneo Internazionali Citta di Firenze. It was part of the Rothman's Spring Mediterranean circuit in 1973, the Grand Prix tennis circuit from 1974 through 1989 and the ATP Tour 1990 through 1994. The tournament was held in Florence, Italy and was competed on outdoor clay courts. From 1973 through 1989, it was played in the weeks preceding the French Open; however, from 1990, it was played the week immediately after.
