is a Japanese josei manga series by Satoru Hiura. It has been adapted as a television drama series (2007–2010), followed by a live action feature film released on 9 June 2012. is a manga series written and illustrated by Momoko Sakura. The series depicts the simple, everyday life of Momoko Sakura, a young girl everyone calls ''Maruko'', and her family in suburban Japan in the year 1974.
