Ryan Luther
Ryan Shanahan Luther (born September 10, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for Manisa BB of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi. He played college basketball for Pittsburgh and Arizona. High school career Luther attended Hampton High School. During his senior season, he scored 30 points against Norwin High School in the Penn-Trafford Basketball Tournament and broke the school scoring record. Luther signed with Pittsburgh on October 25, 2013, choosing the Panthers over Duquesne and Dayton. College career Luther began his collegiate career at Pittsburgh and played sparingly as a freshman. As a sophomore, he averaged 5.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. Following Luther's sophomore season, Pittsburgh coach Jamie Dixon left for TCU and was replaced by Kevin Stallings. Kevin Stallings
Kevin E. Stallings (born October 1, 1960) is a former American basketball coach, who formerly served as the head coach at Illinois State University, Vanderbilt University and the University of Pittsburgh. He was an assistant coach at Purdue University and the University of Kansas. Playing career Stallings was born in Collinsville, Illinois. He graduated from Collinsville High School in Collinsville, Illinois in 1978, where he played guard (6'5", 190 lbs.) for four years under legendary coach Vergil Fletcher and won three conference championships. The Kahoks went 30–1 his junior season and lost to De La Salle in the first round of the Illinois state tournament, 67–66. The Basketball Tournament 2020 was the seventh edition of The Basketball Tournament (TBT), a 5-on-5, single elimination basketball tournament. The tournament, involving 24 teams, started on July 4 and continued through the championship game on July 14, with all games held at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The winner of the final, Golden Eagles, received a $1 million prize. Format Initial plans for TBT 2020 called for a field of 64 teams, organized into eight regions of 8 teams, all of which would be seeded. Each regional in the 2019 edition was hosted by a competing team, with the winner of each regional received a prize equal to 25% of that region's ticket proceeds, although it was unclear whether this procedure was slated to continue in 2020. Marshall Thundering Herd Men's Basketball
The Marshall Thundering Herd men's basketball team represents Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. They compete in the NCAA Division I as a member of the Sun Belt Conference. Marshall has advanced to the NCAA tournament five times through the years (their 1987 appearance having been vacated), most recently in 2018. The Thundering Herd has also played in the NIT five times, last appearing in 2012. The Maui Invitational, currently known as the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, is an annual early-season college basketball tournament that takes place Thanksgiving week, normally in Lahaina, Hawaii, at the Lahaina Civic Center on the island of Maui.
