Ruthann Robson
Ruthann Robson is an American professor of law at CUNY School of Law in New York City and a writer. She has written on legal scholarship and theory and published fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. Her novel ''Eye of a Hurricane'' was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award for LGBT Debut Fiction. Career She has taught at the City University of New York School of Law since 1990 in the areas of constitutional law, family law, feminist legal theory, and sexuality and the law. The ''New York City Law Review'' published a symposium on her work in volume 8, issue 2. In 2007, the CUNY board of Trustees designated Professor Ruthann Robson a University Distinguished Professor. CREDENTIAL
A credential is a piece of any document that details a qualification, competence, or authority issued to an individual by a third party with a relevant or ''de facto'' authority or assumed competence to do so. Examples of credentials include academic diplomas, academic degrees, Professional certification, certifications, security clearances, Identity document, identification documents, badges, passwords, user names, key (lock), keys, power of attorney, powers of attorney, and so on. Sometimes publications, such as scientific papers or books, may be viewed as similar to credentials by some people, especially if the publication was peer reviewed or made in a well-known Academic journal, journal or reputable publisher. Ferro-Grumley Award
The Ferro-Grumley Award is an annual literary award, presented by Publishing Triangle and the Ferro-Grumley Foundation to a book deemed the year's best work of LGBT fiction. The award is presented in memory of writers Robert Ferro and Michael Grumley. It was co-founded in 1988 by Stephen Greco, who continues to direct it as of 2022. First awarded in 1990, separate awards were presented for gay and lesbian fiction until 2008 when the awards were merged into a single award. On two occasions, the award has been won by works that were not conventional literary fiction.
