Russell Wilson
Russell Carrington Wilson (born November 29, 1988) is an American professional American football, football quarterback for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He has primarily played for the Seattle Seahawks. With the Seahawks, Wilson was named to the Pro Bowl nine times and helped Seattle win their first Super Bowl championship in Super Bowl XLVIII. He is regarded as one of the greatest dual-threat quarterbacks of all time. Wilson played college football and baseball for the NC State Wolfpack football, NC State Wolfpack from 2008 to 2010 before transferring to the Wisconsin Badgers football, Wisconsin Badgers in 2011, where he set the single-season Football Bowl Subdivision, FBS record for passer rating and led them to a 2011 Big Ten Football Championship Game, Big Ten title and the 2012 Rose Bowl. The 2013 Pro Bowl was the National Football League (NFL)'s sixty-third annual all-star game which featured players from the 2012 season. It took place at 2:30 pm Hawaii–Aleutian Time ( UTC−10:00; 7:30 pm Eastern Time) on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. The game was televised nationally by NBC in place of CBS. The game was delayed for 30 minutes due to flash flood warnings. The Athletes in Action/Bart Starr Award is given annually to an American football player in the National Football League (NFL) who "best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field, and in the community". The 2025 Pro Bowl Games was the National Football League (NFL)'s all-star game for the 2024 NFL season. This was the third year that the event consisted of skills competitions and a non-contact flag football game. The first block of skills competitions took place on January 30, 2025, around various venues in Central Florida though mainly at Nicholson Fieldhouse on the campus of the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida, while the flag football game and the other events took place on February 2 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
