Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures
''All Aussie Adventures'', also known as ''Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures'', is an Australian mockumentary television series that parodies the travel-adventure genre. Comedian Glenn Robbins plays Russell Coight, a survival and wildlife expert who charts his disastrous travels through Australia, spreading misinformation and causing accidents. The series originally ran for two seasons on Network Ten from 5 August 2001 to 29 September 2002. A telemovie, ''Russell Coight's Celebrity Challenge'', which featured fictional celebrities joining Coight in the outback, aired on 14 November 2004. A third season premiered on 5 August 2018. An official website for the show titled “bigcoight.com” (which can be seen towards the end credits of almost every episode) had been left untouched since 2004, until mid 2019 when it was purchased as a redirect to All Aussie Adventure's main website. DVD Region Code
DVD region codes are a digital rights management technique introduced in 1997. It is designed to allow rights holders to control the international distribution of a DVD release, including its content, release date, and price, all according to the appropriate region. Zwier Albertus "Alby" Mangels (born 16 November 1948) is an Australian adventurer and documentary film-maker widely remembered for his ''World Safari'' adventure travel films ('' World Safari'', '' World Safari II'', and '' World Safari III''). Early life Mangels was born in the Netherlands on 16 November 1948. His father Johannes (Jos) was a leather tanner. The family moved to Australia in 1955 where they settled in Adelaide, South Australia. After about eighteen months in Australia his parents separated. Harry Butler
William Henry Butler (25 March 1930 – 11 December 2015) was an Australian naturalist and environmental consultant, best known as the presenter of the popular ABC television series '' In the Wild'' from 1976 to 1981. He was a household name as he took viewers to remote parts of Australia observing and admiring the natural environment. His advocacy led to the establishment of offshore islands as reserves for plants and animals, protected from invasive species. Malcolm Douglas (14 March 1941 – 23 September 2010) was an Australian wildlife documentary film maker, and crocodile hunter. Douglas started in the 1960s as a professional crocodile hunter and farmer, but later dedicated himself to their preservation. Biography In 1964, 23-year-old Malcolm Douglas and his friend David Oldmeadow ditched their jobs as stock and station agents in the Riverina region of New South Wales and set off on a six-month trip around Australia. Major Leslie James Hiddins , known as "The Bush Tucker Man" is a retired Australian Army soldier and war veteran.
