Summoning Salt ("Salt" for short) is a pseudonymous American speedrunning, speedrunner and YouTuber known for his video documentaries about the history of speedrunning records. As of June 2025, his channel has over 2 million subscribers and more than 246 million views. Speedrunning career Summoning Salt is one of the leading speedrunners of the NES video game ''Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!'' (MTPO). As of November 2024, he holds the records for a variety of MTPO categories, including single-segment (playing through the entire game in one sitting), where his 14:46 time is over 13 seconds faster than the No. 2 speedrunner. Nintendo World Championships
The Nintendo World Championships (NWC) is a nationwide Electronic sports, video game competition series, organized by Nintendo of America at no particular interval. The first Nintendo World Championships was in 1990, touring 29 American cities, being hosted in Los Angeles, CA twice. The NWC was conceived by Steve Grossman and Jay Coleman, principals at EMCI, Nintendo's marketing agency. Greggory Vasquez-Vasquez was the inaugural champion defeating 48 others and dominating the NES championship event. Allan Alvarez (born February 26, 1995), more commonly known as cheese (originally cheese05 until 2018), is a Venezuelan-born Trinidadian-Spanish speedrunner and podcaster known for his ''Super Mario 64'' records. Personal life Allan Alvarez was born on February 26, 1995, in Venezuela. Alvarez moved to Trinidad when he was two years old. His parents divorced early in his life, which proved to be difficult for Alvarez in his speedrunning endeavors, as his step-father was not supportive at first. This has since changed.
