Rune Eriksen
Rune Eriksen (born 13 January 1975), also known by his stage name Blasphemer, is a Norwegian musician best known as the former guitarist and songwriter of black metal band Mayhem (band), Mayhem. He took his stage name from a Sodom (band), Sodom song and joined Mayhem in October 1994, before departing the band in late 2008. Eriksen founded his solo project RUÏM in 2020 and is currently a member of Aura Noir, Earth Electric, and the multinational bands Twilight Of The Gods and Vltimas, the former initially being a Bathory (band), Bathory tribute band and the latter being a supergroup with former Morbid Angel vocalist David Vincent (musician), David Vincent and drummer Flo Mounier of Cryptopsy. Eriksen and Mounier has previously been a part of death metal artist Nader Sadek's band along with Steve Tucker of Morbid Angel. Aura Noir
Aura Noir is a Norwegian black metal, black/thrash metal band from Oslo. Aura Noir is heavily influenced by early thrash bands such as Voivod (band), Voivod, Slayer, Sodom (band), Sodom and Kreator, to the latter they have also dedicated some of their songs. The band's main lyrical themes focus on blasphemy, death and aggression. History Aura Noir was formed in 1993 by Aggressor (Carl-Michael Eide) and Apollyon (musician), Apollyon (Ole Jørgen Moe). ''Wolf's Lair Abyss'' is an EP by the Norwegian black metal band Mayhem. According to the band's website, it is the first part of '' Grand Declaration of War''. The main riff of the last track, "Symbols of Bloodswords", is used in "A Grand Declaration of War" and "View from Nihil (Part II)". This EP was the first Mayhem release without guitarist Euronymous, who was murdered in 1993.
