Rodolfo Jesús Hernández (born April 9, 1968) is a Venezuelan professional baseball coach and a former minor league infielder, coach and manager. He has previously served as the assistant hitting coach for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born in Maracay, Aragua, Venezuela. Career A former second baseman and third baseman, Hernández played for five seasons (1987–91) in the New York Mets' farm system, peaking at the Double-A level. He batted .250 in 493 games played.
