Ruaidhrí Fallon
Ruaidhrí Fallon (born 2002/2003) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for St Brigid's GAA (Roscommon), St Brigid's, as well as the Roscommon county football team, Roscommon county team. He is a defender. Fallon first came to prominence at the age of 17 during his involvement in his club's 2020 Roscommon Senior Football Championship title victory. He was sent off while playing for Roscommon at Croke Park in the 2024 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-final against eventual title winner Armagh county football team, Armagh, which was described in coverage of the incident as "a major talking point" that "would ultimately prove decisive". Fallon played for St Brigid's in the 2023–24 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship final. He was selected for inclusion on the 2024 AIB GAA Club Player Awards, AIB GAA Club Team of the Year. With a background in rugby, Fallon has also represented Connacht's Gaelic football team at inter-provincial level. References

Gaelic football (; short name '')'', commonly known as simply Gaelic, GAA, or football, is an Irish team sport. A form of football, it is played between two teams of 15 players on a rectangular grass pitch. The objective of the sport is to score by kicking or palming the ball into the other team's goal (3 points) or between two upright posts above the goal and over a crossbar above the ground (1 point). Players advance the ball up the field with a combination of carrying, bouncing, kicking, hand-passing, and soloing (dropping the ball and then toe-kicking the ball upward into the hands). In the game, two types of scores are possible: points and goals. A point is awarded for kicking or hand-passing the ball over the crossbar, signalled by the umpire raising a white flag. St Brigid's GAA (Roscommon)
St Brigid's GAA Club (''Naomh Bríd'') is a Gaelic football club located in the parishes of Kiltoom and Cam in County Roscommon, Ireland. The club was founded in 1944 and is a member of the Roscommon GAA branch of the Gaelic Athletic Association. As well as senior, intermediate and junior teams, the club fields underage teams from under-8 to under-21 and caters for ladies' Gaelic football at all ages. St Brigid's' home pitch is at Newpark, Kiltoom. The team plays in green and red colours. On 25 November 2012, St Brigid's secured a third consecutive Connacht Senior Club Football Championship (SFC) title, defeating Ballaghaderreen by 1–12 to 0–6, and becoming the second club team in Connacht to achieve this. Roscommon County Football Team
The Roscommon county football team represents Roscommon in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Roscommon GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Connacht Senior Football Championship and the National Football League. Roscommon's home ground is Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon. The team's manager is Davy Burke. Roscommon was the third Connacht county both to win an All-Ireland Senior Football Championship (SFC), as well as to appear in the final, following Mayo and Galway. Croke Park (, ) is a Gaelic games stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Named after Archbishop Thomas Croke, it is referred to as Croker by GAA fans and locals. It serves as both the principal national stadium of Ireland and headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). 2024 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship
The 2024 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship (SFC) was the 137th edition of the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county Gaelic football tournament since its establishment in 1887. Thirty-one of the thirty-two Irish counties took part – Kilkenny county football team, Kilkenny did not compete, while London county football team, London and New York county football team, New York completed the lineup. The championship worked as a two-tier system for the third time, with the 2024 Tailteann Cup, Tailteann Cup being the second-tier competition for those that do not qualify for the Sam Maguire Cup competition. The draws for the championship took place on 21 October 2023.
