Royal Quest was a professional wrestling pay-per-view List of NJPW pay-per-view events, event produced by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). It was the inaugural NJPW Royal Quest, Royal Quest event and took place on 31 August 2019 at the Copper Box Arena in London, England and was streamed live on FITE TV. It was the first-ever event independently promoted by NJPW in the United Kingdom. Eight matches were contested at the event. In the main event, Kazuchika Okada retained the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Minoru Suzuki. Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Zack Sabre Jr. to win the British Heavyweight Championship (RevPro), British Heavyweight Championship, Hideo Itami, Kenta defeated Tomohiro Ishii to win the NEVER Openweight Championship, and the Guerrillas of Destiny retained the IWGP Tag Team Championship against Aussie Open (professional wrestling), Aussie Open – the winners of Revolution Pro Wrestling's Road to Royal Quest tournament. Kota Ibushi
is a Japanese professional wrestler and martial artist. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He is best known for his tenure with New Japan-Pro Wrestling (NJPW), Dramatic Dream Team (DDT) and WWE. His career began with the Dramatic Dream Team (DDT) promotion in 2004 and over the next eleven years became a three-time KO-D Openweight Champion, five-time KO-D Tag Team Champion and a two-time KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champion. Strong Style Evolved UK was a two-day professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), in partnership with Revolution Pro Wrestling (RPW). It took place on June 30 and July 1, 2018 at Planet Ice Milton Keynes in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England and Planet Ice Altrincham in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, England. The event was streamed on demand on RPW on Demand and NJPW World. The event was themed around Chaos versus Suzuki-gun matches and featured participation of wrestlers from both NJPW and RPW. The Tongans, formerly known as Guerrillas of Destiny (G.O.D), is a Tongan-American professional wrestling tag team currently signed with WWE, founded by and consisting of brothers Alipate Leone and Tevita Fifita, who both perform on the SmackDown brand under the names Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa respectively. NEVER is an acronym of the terms "New Blood", "Evolution", "Valiantly", "Eternal", and "Radical" and was an NJPW-promoted series of events, which featured younger up-and-coming talent and outside wrestlers not signed to the promotion.
