Roxana Mînzatu
Roxana Mînzatu (; born 1 April 1980) is a Romanian politician, local government official and manager of European Union projects in Romania. In 2016, she was elected to the Romanian Chamber of Deputies (Romania), Chamber of Deputies and in 2019, was appointed as Minister of European Funds. In 2024 she was elected as a List of members of the European Parliament (2024–2029), Member of the European Parliament. Since December 2024 she serves as Vice-President of the European Commission and European Commissioner for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness, Commissioner for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness under the Von der Leyen Commission II, Second Von der Leyen Commission. The Commissioner for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness is a member of the European Commission. The position was previously titled as the ''Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility'' until 2019. The current holder is Roxana Mînzatu. The portfolio is responsible for matters relating to employment, social affairs, skills, and labour mobility. The Social Democratic Party (, PSD) is the largest political party in Romania.
