Rotherham United F.C.
Rotherham United Football Club, nicknamed The Millers, is a professional association football club based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England. The team plays in EFL League One, the third tier of English football, after suffering relegation from the EFL Championship in the 2023–24 season. The club's colours were initially yellow and black, but changed to red and white around 1930. They have played home matches at the New York Stadium since 2012, having briefly moved to the Don Valley Stadium from their original home at Millmoor in 2008. The club was formed as a merger between Rotherham County and Rotherham Town in 1925 and were immediately placed in the Football League. They won promotion as champions of the Third Division North in 1950–51 and were beaten finalists in the inaugural League Cup final in 1961, losing to Aston Villa 3–2 on aggregate. New York Stadium
The New York Stadium, currently known as the AESSEAL New York Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a association football, football stadium in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England. Opened in July 2012, it is the home ground of Rotherham United F.C., Rotherham United Football Club, with a capacity of 12,021. Historically the land that the stadium is situated on was called New York and is referenced in many maps up to around the 1980s, although it is said that the name is inspired by the Guest and Chrimes company which previously occupied the site for nearly 150 years. Guest and Chrimes manufactured a brass stop tap that was and still is in use in many fire hydrants worldwide, many hydrant covers have the foundry's name on them along with the towns name, the stop taps are also said to be used in the famous red fire hydrants of New York City. Football League Second Division

Steve Evans (footballer, Born 1962)
Stephen James Evans (born 30 October 1962) is a Scottish professional football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of EFL League One club Rotherham United. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Evans played professional football for Bolton Wanderers, Clyde, Albion Rovers, Ayr United, Hamilton Academical and St Johnstone until a knee ligament injury ended his playing career at 24. After his retirement he became a manager. Prior to taking charge at Crawley Town, he managed Stamford and Boston United, the latter on two occasions. A controversial figure, whilst manager of Boston United he was successfully prosecuted for tax evasion. However, in charge of Rotherham United, he led the club to two successive promotions. Ronnie Moore
Ronald David Moore (born 29 January 1953) is an English football manager and former player. He has taken charge of several clubs, including Rotherham United, Tranmere Rovers and Hartlepool United. He is currently the chief scout at Hartlepool United. He played for seven different clubs in a career spanning almost two decades, including Tranmere Rovers, Cardiff City, Charlton Athletic and Rotherham United. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest Rotherham players of all time.
