Rostěnice-Zvonovice () is a municipality in Vyškov District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants. Administrative division Rostěnice-Zvonovice consists of two municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census): *Rostěnice (364) *Zvonovice (163) Geography Rostěnice-Zvonovice is located about southwest of Vyškov and east of Brno. It lies mostly in the Vyškov Gate, only a small part of the municipality in the east extends into the Litenčice Hills. The highest point is the hill Špice at above sea level. The stream Rostěnický potok flows through the municipality. History The first written mention of Rostěnice is from 1141. Zvonovice was first mentioned in 1355. Rostěnice and Zvonovice were merged into one municipality in 1960. Until 1945, Rostěnice and Zvonovice belonged to the German-speaking enclave called ''Vyškov Language Island''.
