Mexican Center League
The Mexican Center League was a Class C Minor League Baseball circuit that operated in 1956 and 1957. History By 1955, the outlaw Mexican League was struggling for survival during its confrontation against Major League Baseball. As a result, Anuar Canavati, president of the Sultanes de Monterrey team, led a group of new owners that helped make the league part of Organized Baseball as a Class AA circuit in 1955. On the other hand, he encouraged the creation of the Mexican Center League, which operated as a Class C circuit between 1956 and 1957, as a support for the Mexican League. Canavati also served as president of the six-team league during its brief period of existence. The Mexican Baseball League (, or LMB, ) is a professional baseball league in Mexico. It is the oldest running professional sports league in the country. The league has 20 teams organized in two divisions, North and South. Teams play 114 games each season. Ángeles De Puebla
Club Ángeles de Puebla was a football team that played in Mexican Primera División and in Primera División A, it had its home in the city of Puebla de Zaragoza in Mexico. The team was founded in the years 1984–85 after the purchase of the Club de Fútbol Oaxtepec franchise. This team did not have any success, but it was always provided with the support of the people. It was a hardened team that strained to a great extent in its stay in the Mexican Primera División. After the 1989–90 season, the franchise was sold and transferred to Torreón and was made into Santos. The club made a brief comeback in 1999, which ended in 2001. Jorge Fitch
Jorge Fitch (30 March 1934 – 15 April 2021) was a Mexican professional baseball player and manager. As a shortstop, he played for the Tigres del México, Pericos de Puebla, Broncos/Bravos de Reynosa, and Estibadores de Tampico of the Mexican League. Fitch accumulated 1,676 hits in 1,670 games for a .272 lifetime batting average. During the winter, he played 10 seasons with the Naranjeros de Hermosillo, Mayos de Navojoa and Yaquis de Obregón of the Mexican Pacific League. He started his managerial career in 1972 with Broncos de Reynosa and would later manage the Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo, Pericos de Puebla and Alacranes de Durango.
