Rory Phillips
The Impossibles (1994–1998, 2000–2002, and 2012) are a rock music band from Austin, Texas, originally on the Fueled by Ramen label. They played ska punk prior to their first break-up in 1998, but transitioned to a more indie rock/alternative sound upon reuniting. In their time together, The Impossibles played shows with Less Than Jake, Sugarcult, The Toadies, Recover and others. Lead singers Rory Phillips and Gabe Hascall were also in the Fueled by Ramen group Slowreader following the band's second break-up, in 2002. On February 13, 2012, the Impossibles announced a reunion show and launched a new website. The Toadies
Toadies are an American Rock music, rock band formed in 1989 in Fort Worth, Texas, Fort Worth, Texas, best known for the song "Possum Kingdom (song), Possum Kingdom". The band's classic lineup consisted of Vaden Todd Lewis (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Lisa Umbarger (bass guitar), Darrel Herbert (lead guitar), and Mark Reznicek (drums). The band released two studio albums before disbanding in 2001 after Umbarger left the group. Young Love's debut full-length album, ''Too Young to Fight It'' was released on January 30, 2007 in the United States. Fenix TX (styled as Fenix*TX) is an American pop punk band. The band originally formed as Riverfenix in 1995 in Houston, Texas. Under that name, they Independent record label, independently released an Extended play, EP, ''G.B.O.H.'', and an album, ''Riverfenix (album), Riverfenix'', before having to change their name due to a cease and desist order from the estate of actor River Phoenix. Following the change of name, they signed with major label MCA Records in 1999. On MCA, they released two further albums, 1999's ''Fenix TX (album), Fenix TX'' and 2001's ''Lechuza (album), Lechuza'', which collectively sold over 600,000 units. The band broke up in 2002 over creative differences. Vincent "Vinnie" Fiorello (born June 24, 1974) is an American rock musician and businessman. He co-founded the ska punk band Less Than Jake in 1992, and was the band's drummer and lyricist until 2018. He also founded the record labels Fueled by Ramen, Sleep It Off Records, and Paper + Plastick, in addition to several local businesses in Gainesville, Florida. Biography Fiorello was born on June 24, 1974, in Rahway, New Jersey. He grew up in New Jersey but moved to Gainesville, Florida, at age 16. Dynamite Boy was a pop punk band from Austin, Texas. Their final and longest lasting line-up included Sean Neil, Dusty Kohn, Adrian Munoz and Sam Rich. They disbanded in 2005 after a ten-year career, with several reunions between then and 2014, where they celebrated the 10th anniversary of the release of their final record. They have been inactive since. History Dynamite Boy were formed in 1995 in Austin by Andrew Leeper, Matt Greco, Lester Chiu, and John Huckleba after shifting to a more pop punk style from their previous punk and funk incarnation known as Yoda's Love Child. Avail is an American melodic hardcore band from Richmond, Virginia. Originally from Reston, Virginia, the band formed in 1987, its members including Joe Banks, Doug Crosby, Brien Stewart, and Mikey Warstler. The only original remaining member, guitar player Joe Banks, teamed up with rival band LDK's (Learning Disabled Kids) Tim Barry. They moved to Richmond in 1990, and soon, after numerous line up changes, put together a solid lineup to release their first album '' Satiate'' in 1992. Many of their lyrics center on Richmond. Operation Ivy was an American punk rock band from Berkeley, California, formed in May 1987. They were critical to the emergence of Lookout Records and the so-called "East Bay Sound."
