Roll Away
''Kula World'', released as ''Roll Away'' in North America and in Japan, is a puzzle-platform video game developed by Game Design Sweden AB and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation. Sony's subsidiary Psygnosis released the game in North America. The player character, a kula beach ball, collect keys to unlock the level exits, as well as coins and jewels along the way. The game makes use of alternating physics, changing the direction of gravity as the ball moves. It was the only video game to be developed by Game Design Sweden AB, who would later be more well-known for launching Netbabyworld. Gameplay Various elements and obstacles are introduced as one moves on to new levels, which means that the complexity and level of puzzle solving required gradually increases as the game progresses. Netbabyworld
Netbabyworld is one of the first browser-based social gaming sites, known for its distinctive low-polygon 3d imagery, centered on an ensemble cast of characters. The company that developed the games found on the site went bankrupt in 2003; the site remains online but has not been maintained since. History Netbabyworld was founded as a merge venture with the Swedish company PlayCom. Under its former title Game Design Sweden AB, PlayCom had developed '' Kula World'' for the PlayStation in the late 1990s. The website was launched in 1999 by Jens Rudberg, Jesper Kouthoofd and David Eriksson. It was ultimately a short lived venture, going bankrupt in 2003. GameRankings was a video gaming review aggregator that was founded in 1999 and owned by CBS Interactive. It indexed over 315,000 articles relating to more than 14,500 video games. GameRankings was discontinued in December 2019, with its staff being merged with the similar aggregator Metacritic. Rankings GameRankings collected and linked to (but did not host) reviews from other websites and magazines and averages specific ones. While hundreds of reviews may get listed, only the ones that GameRankings deemed notable were used for the average. Scores were culled from numerous American and European sources. The site used a percentage grade for all reviews in order to be able to calculate an average.
