Rok Vilčnik
Rok Vilčnik (born 1968 in Maribor, Slovenia), also known as rokgre, is a Slovene writer, playwright; poet, songwriter and screenwriter. Biography He started his career as a painter and earned a BEd in fine arts. Due to a hand injury his career took a turn and he started writing. He has been a freelance artist ever since. Vilčnik lives and works in Maribor, Slovenia. Works He is mostly known for his theatrical plays for children and adults; he was three times awarded the Grum Award for best new Slovenian play. In 2000, he received it for To ("That"), in 2008 for Smeti na luni ("Garbage on the Moon"), and in 2016 for Ljudski demokratični cirkus Sakešvili ("The Sakeshvili Democratic People's Circus"). In 2004, at the Slovenian Festival of Monodrama in Ptuj, he was named the Slovenian Noble Comediographer and presented the Grand Prix for Pavlek ("Paulie"). Maribor
Maribor ( , , ; also known by other #Name, historical names) is the List of cities and towns in Slovenia, second-largest city in Slovenia and the largest city of the traditional region of Styria (Slovenia), Lower Styria. Naša mala klinika (Our Little Clinic) was a Slovenian comedy series broadcast by Pop TV respectively, between 2004 and 2007. Seven seasons were broadcast. The series was written by Marko Pokorn, Rok Vilčnik and Branko Đurić "Đuro", who also directed the series. The show won four (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008) ''viktor''s for the best played TV series. Lepo je biti sosed ''(It's nice to be neighbours)'' is a Slovenian television series, which started filming in 2008 and after six seasons, ended May 2011. The broadcast television series called POP TV in the Monday evening slot (20.00), its director was Jemeršič Ven. The first three seasons are copied from the original Slovak. The plot tells about two neighbouring families with good relationships. The storyline is about two couples, who live across the hallway to each other. The first couple are Žuža (formally Branka), the seller of high-quality products and Beno, the hunter. They have a daughter; Lidija, but she doesn't appear during season 1 nor is she mentioned. The second couple are Silvika, immigrant from Hungary and Ivo, who is a handyman. They moved into their apartment during the pilot episode, however they knew Beno and Žuža prior to moving in. Neisha
Neisha (real name Neža Buh), born on January 5, 1982, in Ljubljana, is a Slovenian pianist and pop singer. Being born into a music family, Neža's music talent was noticed during her childhood. Hence, she entered a music school (first in Cerkno, then in Škofja Loka) and continued at the Ljubljana Music and Ballet High School. As she was very successful at several contests in piano music and solfeggio, the school awarded her the Škerjanc Award in 2003. In 2000, she became a student of the Music Academy in Ljubljana. Besides classical music she collaborated with many commercial pop and rock artists (among others Terrafolk, and Big Foot Mama) as an arranger, backup vocalist or keyboard player etc. Her solo career started in 2005.
